We lost one big one when it ran all of the way to the bottom but spit the bait when it was just about back to the surface. We fished for deep water rockfish and they caught limits of big Canary and Yellowtail rockfish plus a couple of Lings. Multiple locations were found. The fish came a little slower than they had the last few days but the grade made up for it with the biggest over 70#. The ocean was nice and we were getting bit on a fairly regular basis. We fished all morning with nothing but a few junk fish bites and a double hookup on skates. We all met at the boat and discussed whether or not we should even try to go out.
